Founded in 1997 and headquartered in High Point, North Carolina, Anthem World Class Leather markets and distributes upholstery grade leather hides and cut-and-sewn leather to distributors and furniture manufacturers serving the residential and office/contract markets. Anthem is a true tannery-direct distributor, rather than a wholesaler, and provides value, quality products, and top service to a broad customer base located throughout North America. Using both tannery direct and in-stock warehouse sales, Anthem has built an outstanding reputation serving small, medium, and large customers.

Anthem operates out of a 50,000 square foot distribution center located within minutes of the downtown High Point International Furniture Market. A large inventory encompassing approximately 25 different leathers and over 300 color sku´s is available for immediate shipment. This inventory includes a broad line of high quality finished leather for all segments of the furniture industry. While primarily sold to furniture manufacturers, a number of products are sold to vertical distributing organizations that both manufacture and retail the end product.

The leather is produced in two major tanneries in Argentina and Brazil. Anthem Leather was originally started as the US distributor of Antonio Esposito S.A., located in Buenos Aires. Due to the rapid success of the company, a second tannery, Gobba Leather, was added a few years later from Brazil. Both tannery operations are family controlled for respectively 100 years, and 80 years, and both facilities are Iso 9000 / 14000 certified. A system wide sustainability program is being enacted.
